Description
Glass options are to be considered during the time. To keep glass options in mind we recommend you to go with double glazing. Double glazing protects the house from UV rays, heat, sound & light.
SINGLE, DOUBLE OR TRIPLE
A single glazed window used a single pane, separated by the gap. Recommended for store rooms, etc.
A double glazed window uses two panes, separated by the gap, which is filled with air. Recommended for the normal houses and offices.
Triple glazing consists of three panes of glass separated by air gaps to provide comparatively high levels of heat retention and noise reduction. Triple glazing is an option for very noisy or very cold locations but is more expensive.
Safety glass
All our windows & doors are supplied with glass that complies with NZS 4223, the glazing standard cited as an acceptable solution in the New Zealand Building Code.
